• Cardstock or thick paper
• Scissors
• Ribbon, twine, or string
• Tape or glue (optional)

Instructions

1. Print the pages on cardstock or thick paper.
2. Cut out each flag.
3. Fold along the fold line.
4. Place the fold over the string and secure with tape or glue.
5. Hang and adjust spacing as desired.

Instructions

1. Print on cardstock.
2. Cut out each topper.
3. Attach a stick to the back with tape or glue.
4. Optional: attach a second circle to the back for a double-sided finish.
5. Let dry, then place into cakes or cupcakes.

A slice of carrot cake is one of life’s simple pleasures and always a crowd pleaser in the workplace. This recipe has been designed specifically with Resident Doctors in mind, a one-bowl wonder cake that’s easy to whip up the evening before a shift, ready to share with your hospital or community teams in celebration of Resident Doctors. It’s also plant-based/vegan (i.e. no $10 blocks of butter needed!), so more people can enjoy a slice. The cake is topped with a plant-based maple-orange cream cheese icing and luscious salted caramel – while the salted caramel takes this cake to the next level (and is very easy to make), feel free to leave this out if you’re short on time or energy.
