Since a young age, Alex has understood that having an awareness of how the world works can change lives.

He is now two and a half years into specialist training in Public Health Medicine, and is currently working behind the scenes to protect our communities from preventable illness - tackling issues like air and water quality, living conditions, health inequities, screening programmes and more, while helping design policies to improve the systems which shape our individual health, before we get sick.
